FAQ's

Q. What types of audio formats do you transcribe?

A. We currently only transcribe digital audio recordings.

Q. How do you deliver transcripts?

A. Most transcripts are sent via email as a WordPerfect, Word or PDF attachment. If you require a CD and/or hard copy of your transcript, arrangements can be made to send it via US Mail, FedEx or UPS.

Q. When can I expect the completed transcript?

A. On or before the scheduled date of delivery, which will be mutually agreed upon prior to submission of your audio. Upon receipt of the audio, a preliminary quality check is made. Should any issues arise requiring an adjustment to the turnaround time or cost, you will be contacted before transcription begins.

Q. When is payment due?

A. Payment terms are clearly defined and agreed upon before commencement of any work. Most jobs, particularly those from first-time clients, require a deposit before transcription begins and final payment before the transcript is released.

Q. Do you accept work as a subcontractor from court reporters and other transcription professionals?

A. Yes, all the time. Whether you desire a fantastic first draft or a fully proofed and polished document, you can be assured of the utmost respect for YOUR format/style preferences and turnaround requirements, as well as complete confidentiality.

Q. Do you provide medical transcription services?

A. Not in the form of medical reports or physician’s dictation, but medical terminology is often encountered in both legal and general transcription.

"Thanks so much for all your good work. I am always amazed you can make sense out of my stream of consciousness dictation."
