Answers:
Q.  What types of audio formats do you transcribe?
A.  Both digital and analog (cassette) recordings.  Back
Q.  How do you deliver transcripts?
A.  Most transcripts are sent via e-mail as a WordPerfect, Word or PDF attachment. If you require a paper copy of your transcript, arrangements can be made to send it via US Mail, FedEx or UPS.  Back
Q.  When can I expect the completed transcript?
A.  On or before the scheduled date of delivery, which will be mutually agreed upon prior to submission of your audio. Upon receipt of your audio, a preliminary quality check is made; and should any issues arise requiring an adjustment to either the turnaround time or specific rate, you will be contacted before transcription begins.  Back
Q.  Do you accept work as a subcontractor from court reporters and other transcription professionals?
A.  All the time. Whether you desire a fantastic first draft or a fully proofed and polished document, you can be assured of the utmost respect for YOUR format/style preferences and turnaround requirements, as well as complete confidentiality.  Back
Q.  Do you provide medical transcription services?
A.  Not in the form of medical reports or physician's dictation, but medical terminology is often encountered in both legal and general transcription.  Back
Q.  Do you transcribe financial reports, earnings calls, etc.?
A.  Nope.  Back
Q.  What payment methods are available?
A.  Payment can be made by check or credit card via PayPal. (A PayPal account is not required. You will receive an e-mail with information and a link to their secure payment site.)  Back
Q.  When is payment due?
A.  Payment terms are always clearly defined and agreed upon before commencement of any work. Certain jobs, particularly those from first-time clients, may have deposit requirements and/or terms requiring full payment before the final transcript is sent.  Back
